Domaine Gérald Talmard is the fruit of a family passion for winegrowing, passed down from generation to generation.
Immerse yourself in the heart of our family wine estate in Burgundy, located in Uchizy, near Tournus. Passionate about the art of winemaking for generations, we carefully cultivate Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grape varieties with respect for the environment. Our aim is to offer you authentic, high-quality wines that reflect the exceptional terroir of the Saône-et-Loire region.
In 2013, we were awarded HVE (Haute Valeur Environnementale) certification, testifying to our commitment to sustainable viticulture. Using natural methods, indigenous yeasts and reduced use of SO2, our wines fully express the authenticity of the Chardonnay grape, the emblem of our region.
ぶどう畑の所有主や借地人は、年間をとおして仕事に取り組み、テロワール/terroirの表現を守り続けています。ぶどうを育て、ワインの醸造を手がけるほか、自ら販売まで携わっている例もあります。ブルゴーニュ/Bourgogneには3,800のドメーヌがあり、うち1,300のドメーヌがワインを自ら販売しています。平均栽培面積は8haです。
ブルゴーニュ/Bourgogneにおけるネゴシアンの役割は時代とともに複雑化しています。もともとは熟成途上のワインを買い取り、熟成と販売を担っていましたが、近年はぶどうを直接買付け、醸造そのものを手がける例もみられます。これは、自ら醸造するワインの品質を完全にコントロールするためです。
ぶどう栽培家を組合員とし、協働で醸造と販売の発展に取り組んでいます。ブルゴーニュ/Bourgogneには23の協同組合があり、ワインワイン生産の16％を占めています。
