A growing family vineyard
In the heart of Premeaux-Prissey, a hamlet of Nuits-Saint-Georges, Morgan and Julie Truchetet, along with Morgan's partner Pauline Genot, are proud to have taken over the reins of the family estate in January 2019. They represent the 6th generation. The estate covers 7 hectares and has been certified as an organic winegrowing area since 2023. From the 2022 vintage, Pauline will take over the family vineyards in the communes of Saint-Romain and Auxey-Duresses, which will expand the range.
ぶどう畑の所有主や借地人は、年間をとおして仕事に取り組み、テロワール/terroirの表現を守り続けています。ぶどうを育て、ワインの醸造を手がけるほか、自ら販売まで携わっている例もあります。ブルゴーニュ/Bourgogneには3,800のドメーヌがあり、うち1,300のドメーヌがワインを自ら販売しています。平均栽培面積は8haです。
ブルゴーニュ/Bourgogneにおけるネゴシアンの役割は時代とともに複雑化しています。もともとは熟成途上のワインを買い取り、熟成と販売を担っていましたが、近年はぶどうを直接買付け、醸造そのものを手がける例もみられます。これは、自ら醸造するワインの品質を完全にコントロールするためです。
ぶどう栽培家を組合員とし、協働で醸造と販売の発展に取り組んでいます。ブルゴーニュ/Bourgogneには23の協同組合があり、ワインワイン生産の16％を占めています。
