Domaine La Croix Montjoie grows 15 hectares of organically-farmed vines on a beautiful hillside in the village of Tharoiseau. The estate, a large 19th-century building and wine-making site, offers a magical view of the Vézelay hill. Sophie and Matthieu Woillez set up in this magical setting in 2009 and produce Vézelay wines, where clay and limestone express themselves with freshness, fruity aromas and minerality.

ブルゴーニュ/Bourgogneにおけるネゴシアンの役割は時代とともに複雑化しています。もともとは熟成途上のワインを買い取り、熟成と販売を担っていましたが、近年はぶどうを直接買付け、醸造そのものを手がける例もみられます。これは、自ら醸造するワインの品質を完全にコントロールするためです。
ぶどう栽培家を組合員とし、協働で醸造と販売の発展に取り組んでいます。ブルゴーニュ/Bourgogneには23の協同組合があり、ワインワイン生産の16％を占めています。
