Located in Le Bouchot, in the commune of Pouilly-sur-Loire, the Domaine Chollet wine cellar is open from Monday to Saturday by appointment.
We welcome up to 5 people to taste our wines.
Please note: the estate is closed on 01 January, 22 January and 25 December.
Domaine Chollet offers two AOC wines, Pouilly Fumé and Pouilly sur Loire.
A family-run wine estate since 1960, Domaine Chollet now covers 12 and a half hectares. It has the Haute Valeure Environnementale label and is in the process of converting to organic (for the 3rd year) and biodynamic farming.
From 2010, following his studies in Beaune, Séverin, their son, will be working alongside his parents Gilles and Valérie, adding a modern touch.
When you arrive at the estate, you have a beautiful view over the vines. This is also where you'll find the tasting room.
ぶどう畑の所有主や借地人は、年間をとおして仕事に取り組み、テロワール/terroirの表現を守り続けています。ぶどうを育て、ワインの醸造を手がけるほか、自ら販売まで携わっている例もあります。ブルゴーニュ/Bourgogneには3,800のドメーヌがあり、うち1,300のドメーヌがワインを自ら販売しています。平均栽培面積は8haです。
ブルゴーニュ/Bourgogneにおけるネゴシアンの役割は時代とともに複雑化しています。もともとは熟成途上のワインを買い取り、熟成と販売を担っていましたが、近年はぶどうを直接買付け、醸造そのものを手がける例もみられます。これは、自ら醸造するワインの品質を完全にコントロールするためです。
ぶどう栽培家を組合員とし、協働で醸造と販売の発展に取り組んでいます。ブルゴーニュ/Bourgogneには23の協同組合があり、ワインワイン生産の16％を占めています。
