Born in 1928 from the union of several winegrowers, Vérizet produces a fruity, elegant white wine made exclusively from the Chardonnay grape in the heart of hills with clay-limestone soil.
Today, proud of its Viré-Clessé village appellation, the Cave de Viré contributes to the renown of this appellation through a large number of parcel-based cuvées that express the full potential of its exceptional terroir.

ブルゴーニュ/Bourgogneにおけるネゴシアンの役割は時代とともに複雑化しています。もともとは熟成途上のワインを買い取り、熟成と販売を担っていましたが、近年はぶどうを直接買付け、醸造そのものを手がける例もみられます。これは、自ら醸造するワインの品質を完全にコントロールするためです。
ぶどう栽培家を組合員とし、協働で醸造と販売の発展に取り組んでいます。ブルゴーニュ/Bourgogneには23の協同組合があり、ワインワイン生産の16％を占めています。
