Jean-Pierre Guyon created his farm in 1987. Today the estate covers 6 hectares, mainly in the Côte de Nuits, but also in the Côte de Beaune. Jean-Pierre is very attached to a job well done and to the quality of his wines. Working the vine well throughout the year is essential to the success of the elaboration of a terroir wine. To obtain this balance, we work the vines in the traditional way, and our estate has been certified organic since the 2012 vintage.
ぶどう畑の所有主や借地人は、年間をとおして仕事に取り組み、テロワール/terroirの表現を守り続けています。ぶどうを育て、ワインの醸造を手がけるほか、自ら販売まで携わっている例もあります。ブルゴーニュ/Bourgogneには3,800のドメーヌがあり、うち1,300のドメーヌがワインを自ら販売しています。平均栽培面積は8haです。
ブルゴーニュ/Bourgogneにおけるネゴシアンの役割は時代とともに複雑化しています。もともとは熟成途上のワインを買い取り、熟成と販売を担っていましたが、近年はぶどうを直接買付け、醸造そのものを手がける例もみられます。これは、自ら醸造するワインの品質を完全にコントロールするためです。
ぶどう栽培家を組合員とし、協働で醸造と販売の発展に取り組んでいます。ブルゴーニュ/Bourgogneには23の協同組合があり、ワインワイン生産の16％を占めています。
