Domaine de Maltaverne

Located in Maltaverne, in the commune of Tracy-sur-Loire, the Domaine de Maltaverne cellar is open Monday to Friday from 8am to 8pm and at weekends from 9am to 6pm.
Whether you are a couple or a group (5 to 8 euros per person (depending on the number of people) for up to 50 people), you can take a guided tour of the estate, followed by a tasting of four wines. All you need to do is book a few days in advance.
As a general rule, it's always best to call ahead to let us know you're coming!
Please note: the estate is closed from 25 December to 01 January.

Domaine de Maltaverne is an authentic Burgundy farmhouse located along the famous Nationale 7, in the Nièvre region at Tracy-sur-Loire.
Today, Gilles and Matthieu, the second and third generations, are the guarantors of this family estate, of its tradition, and of the traditional work on 18 hectares of vines that are around forty years old.
Domaine de Maltaverne stretches across a limestone hillside, producing a lively, generous Pouilly Fumé. Over time, it can become supple, fruity, delicate, seductive, fragrant and elegant... Our wine expresses the unique and typical character of its Loire terroir with great freshness and mineral notes.
We choose to let the yeasts naturally present in our vines activate the fermentation of our wines, thus expressing the signature of the terroir and the vintage to the full without affecting the taste of the wine. After fermentation, we mature the wine on its lees for 9 to 12 months, giving it roundness and length on the palate.
Nature in and around our vineyards is now one of our priorities. It's a day-to-day philosophy that goes hand in hand with our oenological vision, and is your assurance of a healthy product.
