The Les Héritiers Saint-Genys estate is, above all, a family-run venture comprising 13.5 hectares of vineyards, spread across the Côte de Beaune and the Côte Chalonnaise, in the heart of Chassagne-Montrachet.

Taken over in 2011 by Patrice du Jeu, then a restaurant owner, thanks to a fortunate turn of events, it has since regained all its splendour and prestige.

The estate produces wines from Chassagne-Montrachet, Santenay Village, Santenay Premier Cru, as well as Mercurey Premier Cru.

Among its iconic wines is the Mercurey Premier Cru Clos Marcilly, one of the appellation’s five historic Premier Crus. Taken over in 2011, completely replanted and producing both red and white wines since the 2014 vintage, this ‘climat’ is now the estate’s exclusive monopole, a true hallmark of its identity.
Managed using sustainable farming practices, the vineyard is cultivated with the utmost respect for the soil. A meticulous, artisanal approach, where each terroir can fully express its character.

The adventure also continues with the Domaine de Lathevalle, in the Beaujolais region, where a Morgon with real character is produced, driven by the same commitment to quality and the same respect for the terroir.

Two estates, one philosophy: a passion for viticulture, authenticity and the pleasure of sharing fine wines.
