We are a family business, founded in 1692. We own parcels of vines in the communes of Volnay, Pommard, Savigny lès Beaune and Pernand Vergelesses. Our wines are made in such a way as to reflect their terroir, in other words each wine must express the potential of the soil in which it is grown. Our vines are therefore cultivated using natural methods, with grass coverage. We no longer use herbicides, insecticides or rot-preventing chemicals.
Wine-tastings are held in one of the village’s finest cellars (an ancient, vaulted structure organised on two levels). We can conduct these sessions in French, English or German, and are able to host groups.
ぶどう畑の所有主や借地人は、年間をとおして仕事に取り組み、テロワール/terroirの表現を守り続けています。ぶどうを育て、ワインの醸造を手がけるほか、自ら販売まで携わっている例もあります。ブルゴーニュ/Bourgogneには3,800のドメーヌがあり、うち1,300のドメーヌがワインを自ら販売しています。平均栽培面積は8haです。
ブルゴーニュ/Bourgogneにおけるネゴシアンの役割は時代とともに複雑化しています。もともとは熟成途上のワインを買い取り、熟成と販売を担っていましたが、近年はぶどうを直接買付け、醸造そのものを手がける例もみられます。これは、自ら醸造するワインの品質を完全にコントロールするためです。
ぶどう栽培家を組合員とし、協働で醸造と販売の発展に取り組んでいます。ブルゴーニュ/Bourgogneには23の協同組合があり、ワインワイン生産の16％を占めています。
